Informs Ing. Róbert Bulla, PhD., MBA, Chief Inspector of Labor of the Nitra Labor Inspectorate.
The employer has the obligation to indicate the amount of the basic wage component when publishing the job offers, ie it is not permitted to indicate in the job advertisements the wage level by “negotiated” or, respectively, wage after earning various bonuses. Therefore, the employer can not, when signing the contract, pay lower amount than the one he published in the job offer.
The amendment brings doubled holiday allowance. Employees will include earnings and salary benefits of at least 100% of his / her average earnings.
Larger benefits are available to night workers and new wage benefits for work on Saturdays and Sundays have been introduced into the law, as shown in the table below.
All employees who work on Saturdays or Sundays will be entitled to wage benefits in addition to wages, regardless of whether they work normally on Saturdays and Sundays, or overtime at the weekend.
Employees working under employment contracts (“Agreements”) will have the same wage benefits as other employees for work on Saturdays, Sundays, night work and hard work. For work on holiday the agreed remuneration is increased by at least the amount of the minimum wage per hour (ie, the remuneration of the agreement is for every hour of holiday work 2,759, -EUR in addition).
